Come join Mardela's National Honor Society and Junior Honor Society for our annual Harvest Festival on October 24th! Come in your Halloween costume and walk through the decorated halls of Mardela for a fun night of trick-or-treating. The admission fee is $5 (cash only) per child 12 and under with an accompanying adult. This event will run from 5-7 p.m. Please park in the front and enter through the front/lobby entrance. We hope to see you there!

Shout Out to our students who tested last Spring in Advanced Placement and MCAP! AP Language and Composition, AP US History, AP Literature and Composition, and English 10 MCAP students rocked the test by at least 70% or higher of students passing these exams. 🕵️‍♂️🔍 Mystery was in the air in 8th grade ELA this week! Students investigated a staged “crime scene” full of hidden clues to kick off our new Studysync unit, Everyone Loves a Mystery. They analyzed evidence, made inferences, and predicted the mysteries we’ll uncover in upcoming stories like The Tell-Tale Heart, The Lottery, and The Monkey’s Paw. A fun and suspenseful way to spark curiosity and critical thinking!

Note for Wednesday, Oct. 1: Term 1 mid-term progress reports will come out Oct. 1 for students in grades 1-12. Be sure to review the progress report with the student to celebrate successes and set goals at the midpoint of the marking term.

If you would like to enroll in Dual Enrollment for next semester, but have not yet discussed a plan with your counselor, please see Mr. Hollamon as soon as possible to discuss graduation requirements and recommended coursework.
