Ava Baer made it into All-State Choir. This is the FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW that’s she’s made it into this prestigious group of talented young people from across the state. 😊

Outstanding Performance from our Varsity & JV teams competing against some tough public and private school wrestlers from MD, DE, and DC at the 51st Annual Kent Holiday Tournament.
In addition to 5 top 5 wrestlers in the Varsity Tournament, Andrew Yates became our 1st Champion in several years pinning his opponent from the private school Archbishop Curley in the Finals.

Congratulations to Junior Nick Davala for making it into the Maryland Senior All State Band. He is one of only 3 high schoolers on the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland to make it, and the only from Wicomico County. He is only the third Mardela student in at least 25 years to make All State Band.

We’re excited to offer onsite Learner's Permit Testing at Mardela Middle & High School during 2nd period on January 15!
✅ Free to take the test at school.
📌 Important: You must be at least 15 years and 9 months old by January 15 to take the test.
📜 After passing, visit the MVA to obtain your permit license card. Don’t forget to bring your passing form and the $50 fee for processing!

📣 Important MCAP Testing Information! 📣
📚 Who:
Students enrolled in Semester I Algebra I, English 10, Government, and Biology, along with any 9th graders in Algebra II or Geometry.
🗓 When: JAN 9th & 10th!
! At the start of the week, students will receive an MCAP Testing Schedule with dates, times, and locations.
💻 Preparation Tips:
✨ Ensure your student’s device is in good working order and fully charged each day.
✨ Encourage your student to arrive on time and be ready to test.
📅 Special Schedule: Modified bell schedule with no FLEX/Class 3.
✨This is a regular school day for ALL students, whether testing or not.
✨ATEX/CTE/JROTC will report as usual on the modified schedule.
