We are thankful to Educational Systems FCU and its employees for their generous donation of hats, gloves, socks and other winter items through the company's Warming Hearts and Hands initiative. The Division of Student & Family Services team of Wicomico County Public Schools (represented here by pupil personnel workers Knita Cartwright and Jacqualynn Deal) will make sure these donations are given to students and family members who need them.
Wicomico County Public Schools appreciates the generosity and compassion of our community. If your business or organization would like to support Wicomico students and families in some way, please contact us at comments@mywcps.org.

🎄🔬 Exciting news from Mr. Smith’s 8th graders! This holiday season, they created their very own blizzard in a jar! ❄️✨ The students combined water, a dash of white paint, mineral oil, glitter, and effervescent tablets to simulate a winter wonderland. The mesmerizing swirl of colors and bubbles brought the magic of a snowy day right into the classroom! What a fantastic way to blend science and holiday cheer! 🎉🧪 #BlizzardInAJar #STEMFun #HolidayMagic

🐻🎉 The TEDDY BEAR COUNT IS IN!!! 🎉🐻
We are thrilled to announce that the GRAND TOTAL of collected stuffed animals is: 568!
But wait, there’s more! 🎁 Additional bags of stuffed animals came in after the deadline, so we estimate well over 600! 🧸✨
🏆 Congratulations to our Winning 1st Period Class: MRS. ABBOTT’S CLASS! 🎉 They celebrated their generosity today with donuts provided by the Kindness Club.
Honorable mentions go to Mr. Hastings and Señora Kurtz’s classes, who also collected an impressive amount and were rewarded with a candy treat! 🍬
This week, the Kindness Club delivered the stuffed animals to HALO and Life Crisis Shelters to bring joy to children staying there during the holidays and beyond. 💝
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Kindness Club Annual Teddy Bear Drive! 🐾 Your generosity shows how much our community cares for those going through difficult times. These stuffed animals will bring comfort and smiles to children who need them most. 💕

Our Middle School Honoree, the incredible Dr. Brooke Keene, was out today, but we can’t wait to celebrate her properly when she returns after the holiday break!
The Kindness Club, along with all of us at MMHS, is so thankful for our fantastic teachers each and every day. Let’s show them some love! 💕 Take a moment to remind your teachers how much they mean to you, and wish them a relaxing and peaceful holiday break!
