Attention Seniors!

There will be a mandatory senior meeting on Tuesday, October 7 during 1st period, FLEX, or 5th period in the Media Center. You are required to attend one of these sessions.

If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled times, please notify Mr. Hollamon as soon as possible.

During the meeting, we will cover important topics including:

FAFSA Workshop – We will help you create your FAFSA account
Important: If you plan to apply to a four-year college, two-year college, or trade school, you must complete the FAFSA to be eligible for financial aid.

✅ What to bring:
Please have your Social Security Number available at the meeting—you’ll need it to set up your FAFSA account.

Students taking Dual Enrollment next semester at Wor-Wic, please attend the meeting with Wor-Wic on 10/14 during FLEX for some information to help get you started in your classes successfully. If you would like to enroll in Dual Enrollment for next semester, but have not yet discussed a plan with your counselor, please see Mr. Hollamon as soon as possible to discuss graduation requirements and recommended coursework.

Come join Mardela's National Honor Society and Junior Honor Society for our annual Harvest Festival on October 24th! Come in your Halloween costume and walk through the decorated halls of Mardela for a fun night of trick-or-treating. The admission fee is $5 (cash only) per child 12 and under with an accompanying adult. This event will run from 5-7 p.m. Please park in the front and enter through the front/lobby entrance. We hope to see you there!

****GIRL POWER FIELD TRIP - High School Girls****
Each year, the electric cooperatives of Virginia, Maryland & Delaware host one-day energy career experiences for high school girls interested or curious about working on a line crew, in a substation, with advanced-metering technology, as a fiber broadband technician, or a variety of other careers in the power industry. Instructors lead students through various activities in the classroom and outdoors at the Electric Cooperative Training Centers in Salisbury, Md.
