Registration for this year’s AP exams begins on September 9th and ends November 1st, for Semester I or full year courses. The tests will be held between May 5th - 16th of 2025. This year, the cost of AP exams will be covered through MD Blueprint funding for courses that your student is enrolled in through WCPS. If your student registers late or registers for the exam and then decides not to take the test after the deadline above, College Board will charge a $40 fee, and WCPS will charge an additional processing fee. Today, Realtor Pam Price, who is among the top 1% of real estate agents in America, visited Ms. Hurley and Mrs. Bonds' Business Math class to share insights on what it takes to succeed in real estate, how realtors make money, and the importance of understanding credit when buying a home. Her talk was a perfect fit with our units on pay and credit, giving students real-world examples of how these concepts apply to homeownership and career success. Thanks, Pam, for bringing the business world into our classroom!

This week the MMHS Community and the Warrior Kindness Club participated in National Bullying Awareness & Prevention Week, with a Spirit Week and lots of activities during lunches all week. Kindness Club members shared information, gave out stickers and bookmarks, and hosted a fun BINGO game with prizes. The Spirit week was fun with many people participating, and here are just a few of the many participants! Remember to include others who may look like they are left out. Be a friend. Kindness is FREE, and there is an endless supply!

PSAT – October 23 On Wednesday, October 23rd, we will be administering the PSAT to all 10th graders and any 9th or 11th grade students who signed up and paid to take the PSAT. All other 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 12th grade students will not attend school that day, but will instead complete asynchronous work at home through their Google Classrooms.
