The following school administrative changes take effect for Wicomico County Public Schools on July 1st. Please congratulate all of these principals and assistant principals as they prepare to put their experience and talents to work in new or continuing assignments for the 2026-2027 school year.
Principal and assistant principal changes are listed, followed by a full listing of 2026-2027 school leadership teams with principals and assistant principals (deans of students to be added later this summer). One principal position remains to be filled.
Principal Changes (Effective July 1, 2026):
Principal, Delmar Elementary: Terry Dunn (currently Principal of Salisbury Middle School). He will replace Dr. Ryan Kessler, who will be the school system’s Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations.
Principal, Prince Street Elementary: Christina Stewart (currently Principal at Westside Intermediate)
Principal, Westside Intermediate: Leslie Tolley (promotion; currently Assistant Principal of Westside Intermediate)
Principal, Salisbury Middle: Matthew Brady (currently Principal of Choices Academy)
Principal, Wicomico Middle: Jason Miller (currently Principal at Prince Street Elementary)
Principal, James M. Bennett High: Matthew Donovan (currently Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Sussex County Vocational Technical School District). He will replace Dr. Christel Savage, who will be the school system’s Director of Curriculum & Professional Learning.
