Parkside CTE is thrilled to announce that not one but two of our teachers are semifinalists for the WCPS Rising Star Award! Jake Jackson and Rich Kaiser are 2 of 16 teachers countywide up for the award that goes to a 2nd year teacher. Jake does a phenomenal job teaching Electricity, and Rich is an amazing Criminal Justice teacher! Mu Alpha Theta is the math honor society at Parkside High School, and we are accepting applications for new members this month!
To join, you must have completed Algebra I, Geometry and one additional college prep math course, and have at least a 3.0 (unweighted) math grade point average.
If you are interested in joining, please pick up an application outside of Ms. Whitebread’s room and return your completed application by Friday, March 21, 2025.
