Information on spring break dates for Wicomico County Public Schools
On March 25, DialogueNEXT was held in Washington, D.C. The Foundation unveiled 117 organizations, joining 153 Nobel and World Food Prize Laureates calling for drastic “moonshot” innovations to enable feeding a growing global population. Joining this important event were Parkside CTE Horticulture students and Borlaug Scholars, Jasmine Tribeck (Parkside), and Morgan Dawson (Wi Hi). Thank you, Teresa Maggio and Diamond Nwaeze, from UMES 4H Extension for supporting this opportunity. In the photo, you see Jasmine and Morgan with Dr. Cary Fowler, founder of the Global Seed Vault in Norway. We are so proud of Jasmine and Morgan!

Yesterday, Mr. Chris Grande was able to take Parkside Teachers Academy of Maryland students to Salisbury University for a visit. They were able to get tours of the campus, watched lessons in elementary or secondary education, and learned about the application process. Parkside and Wicomico County Public Schools are proud of our great working relationship with Salisbury University!

Today, students found out that they were chosen for the National English Honor Society by advisors Mrs. Capute and Mrs. Stoltzfus, and admin advisor Mrs. Jackson. We are so proud of these students and look forward to inducting them on May 15th. Some students weren't present today and will find out tomorrow.

Recently, our French Honor Society volunteered for the dinner service at Halo. It was a wonderful, humbling experience, and our students truly represented PHS. We are so proud of these students and Mrs. Holland for putting the needs of others before their own and helping make this a better world! That's just one of the things that being RAMFAM means. 💚🤍🐏🤍💚

In addition, Dylan Bean (PHS) won bronze in welding (pictured), and the Automated Manufacturing Technology team of Thomas Dickey (Mardela), Apollo Paternoster (Mardela), and Riley Clapper (JMB), also won bronze.
