Welcome Back Parkside CTE Horticulture Students. Pansy Planting Party. Current and former students and friends enjoyed an evening of planting and camaraderie. 11,200 pansies planted in new record time of 17 minutes 16 seconds breaking former record of 32 minutes.

Friday, Aug. 30: Central Office and school offices are open, but teachers and most school staff are off today to enjoy the last weekend of the summer before the start of school. We look forward to seeing everyone rested and ready for learning starting Tuesday, Sept. 3 for most students.
Parkside CTE Horticulture and FFA continue to gain recognition for their amazing work! Here, 2 of our student groups who presented research finished in the top 15 in the nation with their work. In addition, Parkside CTE FFA was recognized with a National Chapter Award, one of only 5 in Maryland. Keep the incredible work Parkside CTE Horticulture and FFA!

Today, we unveiled new artwork that will be displayed forever here at Parkside, Home of the RAMS. This design was the creation of former Parkside Art teacher (and RAMFAM forever) Maria Zeller and 3 of her students: Justice Hope Stanley, Taylor Griffin, and Brady Willey. This art exemplifies how we are all part of the RAMFAM and each and every single one of us, regardless of the color of our skin or diversity, is an important piece of the puzzle that makes the RAMFAM truly a family. THANK YOU to Maria Zeller and your students for this display that will be proudly displayed forever in the halls of Parkside, Home of the RAMS!
