Listed below is a breakdown of our Regional tournament results from this weekend. It was a long weekend but the Rams battled hard. We came away with 9 total qualifiers and 4 alternates. A special shout out to Mable Woodgeard and Dontray Fuller for becoming East Regional Champions! Both wrestlers pinned their way through the tournament 💪. Up next…all qualifiers will compete in the MPSSAA 1A/2A State Championship Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Showplace Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD.

Friday evening, prior to a Parkside Basketball Playoff Doubleheader, we celebrated and honored Coach Warren White. Coach White, who will be retiring at the end of this season, now has a total of 477 victories as head coach of Parkside Varsity Girls Basketball along with a Maryland State Championship in 1999. Coach Warren White's legacy will last forever at Parkside and will never be forgotten.

The RAMFAM had a blast Friday afternoon during 5th period for our Winter Pep Rally! We celebrated all the amazing things that are occurring at Parkside CTE. In addition, the students got to watch JV girls and JV boys basketball teams take on Parkside Staff in basketball games. Fortunately, no one got hurt, except for a few egos 🤣😂. At Parkside CTE, we like to work hard while also having a fun time celebrating our victories and accomplishments!

The DAR Good Citizen Scholarship is awarded to students who have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Adithi Abhilash was selected as Parkside’s 2025 DAR Good Citizen and announced as the local winner for Wicomico County. At that meeting, it was also announced that Adithi advanced to the state level of the competition and is recognized as the runner-up to this year’s state winner. We are so incredibly proud of Adithi!!! She represents so many great RAMFAM qualities! 💚🤍🐏🤍💚

Thanks to everyone who has already reached out. CALLING ALL RAMFAM!!! Did you know that next school year, the 2025-2026 school year, will be the 50th year for Parkside High School? That’s right, Parkside High School will be 50 years old! Well, we are going to make sure that everyone knows that Parkside High School is an amazing high school and celebrate our Golden Jubilee (don’t worry…everything will still be GREEN!)! One thing that we will be creating is a Parkside Alumni Association that will allow for all RAMFAM to be a part of this celebration and continuing love of Parkside, Home of the RAMS! If you are interested in joining the Parkside High School Alumni Association, please email the current principal and proud 91’ Parkside graduate Brian Briggs at bbriggs@mywcps.org so we can start this up. Parkside High School has meant a lot to a lot of people, and we can’t wait to show the world how much Parkside High School means to us as well as how great of a school it is! Please share this with as many Parkside RAMFAM as possible and this should also include any Parkside staff, former or present, who would like to be a part of this. Let’s make this 50th year for Parkside High School one to remember!

The current, updated 2024-2025 school year calendar is now available on our website. On Tuesday the Maryland State Board of Education approved Wicomico’s waiver request for Monday, June 16. This was the final piece of Wicomico County Public Schools' plan for making up six days missed due to winter weather. Wicomico now has the OK to end the school year on Friday, June 13 for students, teachers, instructional assistants and nurses. The earlier version of the calendar that showed school on Monday, June 16 should now be discarded. While this updated calendar still needs approval from the Wicomico County Board of Education at its March 11th meeting, the calendar is available now for reference and planning purposes. (Following the Board’s vote, only the approval note at the bottom right corner of the calendar would change.) To see this year’s current school calendar, go to www.wicomicoschools.org and click on Calendar at top right, or go directly to the Calendar page: https://www.wicomicoschools.org/o/wcps/page/calendars
